Here at Tweed Valley Farm Pittsfield, Vermont, we have been growing premium Shiitake  mushrooms, in greenhouses, in our barn since 2007.
We have been selling them at farmers markets and now have developed a special savory Shiitake marinated variation.

      * Paired with fresh Mozzarella, the shiitake makes a simple delicious Hor D'euvre.
        * Sautee the mushrooms with shallot, fresh spinach and garlic to cover your favorite grilled steak.
       * The marinade itself will add a sweet and sour zest to salad dressings, other marinades and soups.
       * Straight from the jar, the shiitake mushrooms add flavor and texture to salads, pizzas and even omelettes.
       * Sauteed with any variety of vegetables, especially greens, creates amazing side dishes.
       * It is an incredible marinade straight out of the jar for tuna, salmon, chicken and quail.
